Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then on to the Beaufort Park Hotel, Mold for a four night stay.
Our included excursions takes us first to Caernarfon, dominated by one of the most impressive castles in Wales. The huge castle, with its unusual octagon towers, was the largest of many built by Edward I at the end of the 13th century. Edward’s son was born here in 1284 and became the first Prince of Wales followed, nearly seven centuries later, by HRH King Charles II.
We head over the Menai Straits and on to the Isle of Anglesey with a photo stop at impressive Beaumaris Castle, an unfinished masterpiece, built in 1295.
Here we board the all-weather cruiser to Puffin Island – home to many species of birds and wildlife. The 1½ hour cruise, with live commentary, takes you right round the island with regular sightings of puffins, grey seals and dolphins.
We visit the 'Queen of Welsh resorts', Llandudno. Two miles of sandy beaches and a fine Victorian promenade curve between the two headlands, Little Orme and Great Orme. The sweeping promenade, framed with Victorian architecture that dominates the seafront, overlooks the curving bay and popular pier.
Sit back and admire breathtaking scenery as we drive through the stunning Snowdonia National Park. Soaring mountains, dense forests and sparkling lakes abound as we continue to the picture postcard village of Betws-y-Coed, located at the very heart of the National Park.
Potter around the independent shops, enjoy a breath of fresh air on a walking trail or enjoy a bite to eat in one of the many cafés.
Return home.
You will stay for four nights at the 3-star Beaufort Park Hotel in Mold.

Great value, hotel, staff and food excellent. Shaun, our driver, worked very hard to make our holiday a good time. He had a couple of difficult passengers and dealt with them with care and good humour.
